So school's officially out, and this fresh feeling of freedom has got me totally inspired. As I was sorting through things on my desk, I came across my unused copy of "The Teen Vogue Hand Book". A few months ago, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a Teen Vogue event that was being hosted at a mall near me. Being a religious Teen Vogue reader, the thought of volunteering at an actual event seemed like the opportunity of a lifetime. Although my job wasn't as glamourous as I had hoped (I basically had to greet every person that walked into their store and hand them free stuff), I still managed to leave with this coveted hand book and a few other goodies. Despite my eagerness to read the book -- and my happiness over the fact that I didn't have to pay a single dime for it -- I never managed to get past the first chapter. But with school out of the way and no more tests or projects to worry about, I decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did it, because the advice found in this book is extremely useful! Being a normal seventeen year old girl that aspires to someday work in the world of fashion, this book is a must-have for me. So starting now, I'm going to follow its advice. With so much free time this summer, I hope to accomplish more than just lazy days and routine nights spent with friends. Following the advice of my hand-book, step one on my summer-to-do list is to start a blog. What am I going to write about? I truly don't know -- anything and everything I suppose. So here I go; enjoy :)
xoxo.
